Assembly services
Berkshire Powder Coatings operate a large 13000 Sq Ft facility in Thatcham, complete with onsite storage facility, and 6000 square foot dedicated assembly line with 8 full time staff able to carry out any final assembly processing to your coated products if required. The range of services offered by our onsite assembly team is vast but typical operations can vary from inserting rubber grommets and sleeves to simple labelling and fitment, but more complex services are available to our customers and we also offer full product assembly and packaging for direct customer dispatch. Packaging and Shipment
Berkshire Powder coatings will provide excellent protection to all completed jobs as standard and the team are happy to work with all clients to ensure any specific needs are met and control measures put in place to ensure specific packaging requests are applied consistently every time. We are also happy to carry out product preparation and packing for final distribution direct to end users.
Masking
As part of our services to you, Berkshire Powder coatings is happy to offer full masking services including high temperature masking to our customer’s job.
Tape Masking: Among the most popular request is for tape masking and can be undertaken to customer’s specific requests using specialist tape for excellent line definition and consistency, this also includes any requests for Specialist high temperature tape that is used for coatings that require heat curing up to 160°C.
Plugs & Thread protection: Various designs are available for masking both threaded components and inserts as well as through holes, ideal for protecting threads from becoming laden with coating material, and common place in electrical component coatings for earthling points.
Custom Masking: A vast range of other masking tools can be made available for difficult products, and can be specially adapted to suit your specific needs, Berkshire Powder coatings is also available to provide expert advice if your product is at the design stage to advise on the coating processes and help you minimise the need for masking in the first place.
